Got To Love Date Nights

So aaron had a really cute date planned for us up in the mountains.. i was so excited and couldn't wait. However on our way something unexpected happened... we got stuck!

After about an hour of trying to get out i told aaron we should call for help... to which he replied, "Men don't call for help! Just let me rescue you!"

By the time we got out (hours later) it was time to head home... we laughed about it the whole way back.. aaron said it was the best date ever... haha!

Going Private

In the meantime here's what we've been up to... We went to Zion Ponderosa for the Tingey Family Reunion

Aaron is in the middle of testing for the police department. So far he has passed the written, physical, and oral exams..

I'm finally learning how to cook! (yes, i'm 23.. have been married for 2 1/2 years and still don't know how to cook) Aaron started me off slow by learning an easy one.. chicken and rice casserole

Allie is mastering rollling over from her back to stomach

She loves to be outside! Anytime she's cranky we'll just go outside and she'll stop crying!






She is already such a Daddy's Girl






I'm trying to get better at putting bows in her hair.. especially when we go out. I hate it when people ask me if she's a boy! I guess pink onesies aren't enough!

This girl is going to walk before we know it!

Beach Babe

Over the weekend we went to California for my cousin's wedding.. and it would have been a crime not to go to the beach for at least a little while. Allie looked so cute in her swim suit!

It was a lot of fun to see all our family. Four generations pic..

While we were in Cali Allie rolled over for the first time. It was so exciting for us!

Some other new things:

She reaches for toys now and puts them in her mouth..

She's got herself a little boyfriend..

She LOVES to stand up!

She's getting really good at holding her head up..

I can't believe how big she's getting! When I see sweet moments like this i can't help but feel so grateful for my family!

Hawaii

We spent a week in Hawaii with Aaron's family and had the best time!! It was Allie's first time on a plane. Flying there she did great and just slept.. the flight back was a different story.. lets just say i'm not looking forward to any more flights with her until she's older.



The house we stayed in was AMAZING!
